Definitely watching, even though I'm not the biggest fan of the modern game. Regardless of anything else, it's one of the rare times that unite almost everybody.

I'm actually going to the Bradford/Wakefield game earlier in the day too, so both bases covered.

First game (Eng v Ned) of this tournament I've summoned the enthusiasm to watch. My, modern elite football is tedious (and I've been watching football since 1971). It has become an extended game of 'attack-and-defence'. Square passing or pretty triangles - nothing over 20 yards! - and keep-ball. Spreading to all levels, unfortunately, because coaches do the same FA courses.

That penalty decision was a joke. No wonder today's players throw themselves to the ground every time they get in the box.

Guess I'll have to watch on Sunday evening. Not much else to do!

ATP Final tennis

Rugby Union SA v Ireland

TNT Sports;

MLB Royals v Red Sox and Blue Jays v Diamondbacks

Major League Cricket USA

Eurosport; Climbing World Cup

Motor racing World Endurance Championship

Channel 4 Movie: Titanic

Sky Arts Johnny Cash documentary

I hadn't watched any of it 'til last night, as England were still in and I didn't want to jinx them.

Then I remembered the match was on ITV, so we were probably going to lose anyway.

So I watched the second half.

Oh! That's why they weren't as good in the second half! 😉

If you asked me to pick one word it would be indifference. I'll have one eye on it because other members of the family will want to watch even though they're not fans of the sport. I watched one England game sharing a few beers with a Hull City supporting mate. I can't remember who they played but the game was dire. The beers and the company were good though 😃

I'll be predominantly online catching up with the aftermath of the weekend's big RL games and the Tour de France.

Will always wish England well in any sport, but the highlights reel will work for me for football.

Come on, who voted Spain, they should be made to listen to Julio Iglesias on loop for eternity🤣

There's a couple of Spaniards now. It's turning into an Armada.

I'm disappointed nobody has yet voted for the Wendyball option. I can only assume that Harry Stottle hasn't seen the thread yet.

Might watch the last ten minutes. Might not.

I'm an Everton fan, so I'm used to disappointment and very very very occasional joy.

My kids play soccer and this is the first tournament that has resonated with them

We'll be watching the same as we all watched the RL game from Toulouse (in our England rugby league shirts!)

There is a balance to be struck - as we saw, in Britain, during the 60s, 70s and 80s. With the odd exception, that style of play wasn't hoof ball.

I rewatched the 1966 WC final yesterday. I suppose I thought there was a huge amount of rose tinted specs involved here, but actually, they were a bloody great team and could have won by a lot more! The ref was noticeable by his lack of presence.....and not whistling every 2 minutes. It was football I grew up watching- and it was fantastic. (Which is not to knock the modern team either)

Me too .. and there are a couple of league 2 friendlies being broadcast before Wednesday on YouTube

They'd better not give away the result

Anyone fancy having a go at the result I’ll go with 2-1 England in 90 mins. That is probably heart ruling head though.

It's okay to let your heart rule your head in this kind of situation.

I will go 2-2 in regular time and England to win it 3-2 in extra time.

C'mon England! Not long to wait now! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
