Crusaders only away win (well, one can but hope!)

I'll second that!

We HAVE to win if we are to have any impact on the play-offs. We need to play like we did at Hunslet in the first 40 minutes last Sunday.... but for both halves of the game!!

4 home wins BUT

I can fully understand that Cru are very capable of spoiling that prediction.

I'm sure everyone associated with them must be frustrated as they have not fulfilled their potential.

When they are good they are....

All home wins with a couple of big scores thrown in.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Crusaders result confirms Midlands and Workington places in play-offs.

It has been a long time coming for the Coventry / Midlands club to achieve this and it feels fantastic.

Er, no, it doesn't. Next weekend Worky, with a points difference of -35, go to Oldham while the Cru (points difference -38) are at home to Cornwall. All to play for, methinks.

I admit I'm a little giddy at this point but, according to the Our League app, the League 1 table currently:

5. Midlands GD 148 Pts 18

6. Workington GD 11 Pts 18

7. Crusaders GD -38 Pts 14

We all have 1 more gamne to play and there are only 2 points for a win.

According to the BBC site, Workington have only played 18 games and everyone else has played 19!

Wasn't to be for the Cru this year, but we'll build again for 2025 with a new owner.

Congratulations to Hurricanes on getting into the playoff and proving you're no longer the whipping boys. I'll be following the Hurricanes in the play-offs; I may even get along to the game if you're playing in the Alexandra in the first round.

I have been impressed by the cru this year ( and last year). Maybe with their new owner they can kick on and aim for promotion. But from experience keep moving fixtures around does no good for building a fan base.

Last year the nomadic experience was due to the Eirias Park being redeveloped and a new pitch laid. We had one game swithched this year due to a new running track being laid; but you're right. It decimated our crowds
