York v Fev - Draw

A draw would be lovely.

A draw would make it Bradford v Fev, Sheffield E v York in the play-offs. I guess Eagles should be motivated to try to rack up a big score against Dewsbury and potentially get 4th place.

If York and Fev draw, any old win will do.   If Fev win, overtaking their points difference would be a possibility.  If York win, that's less likely.  It would need Dewsbury's highest defeat of the season.

A 13 point and over win for Sheffield at Dewsbury would put them above Featherstone if they draw at York.Dewsbury have 4 suspended so Sheffield should manage to beat them by 26/30 points at least.

You may be overlooking that if you draw and we win, we won't need points difference.

Mind you, we have a long record of narrow defeats at Dewsbury.

Dewsbury's highest defeat of the season may be on the cards as I'm not sure we've got 18 players due to injuries and suspensions.

You have 17 named.

But 17 is all you need.

Whether all 17 are fit to play is another question. You'd normally name an 18th man.

Not many play, though.

True, but I will be surprised if Sheffield don't post at least 50 points.

Wouldn't be enough if York win.
