Well done York. Playing well at the right time. If Bradford beat Fev you will be at Wakey. If Fev win you will be in Toulouse. But the way you are playing you will give a good account at either venue. (Fev fan)

Seeing a lot praise for the Widnes fans but I hardly heard them all game.. What about another outstandingly loud non stop performance from the Barmy Army? How good would it be If only more people joined in? Give some credit to your own fans. York were never toubled today. The team outplayed and outclassed Widnes and the fans outsung them from the 1st minute.

Another difficult selection headache Matt Applegarth this weekend and i wonder if he will replace Jubb with Cooke and maybe bring back Teanby into the 17 replacing Michael or Martin(injury)and also nice to see recognition for Applegarth,Ward and Thompson in the end of championship awards.

Are you Mash in disguise? 😄

Widnes were great and plenty of them, added to the atmosphere, Comment from studio "Atmosphere sounds great there today". Barmy Army were fantastic all day. Widnes were excellent first half and their kicking game was superb, Liam Bent was exceptional for them (No 17), hiking the ball up non-stop in that first 40. That was some effort to better the momentum they took into the interval with their try but we bossed that second half, and, like Fev, last week, we bullied them.

Didn't expect Martin to be dropped from the team, just shows how much depth we have upfront now if you don't perform.

Was he dropped? I thought he was injured.

I'm sure Mash told Andy after the game he was left out and not injured.

Well he went off injured not to return against fev so would say he was injured

It's been an excellent season for the club as a whole topped off by the the Valkyries win yesterday.

I now await the IMG gradings to come out, first of all to see if we can replace the likes of Salford,Huddersfield or Castleford in Super League or if that particular dream will in fact be a bridge too far for the Knights.

Not a fan of the IMG gradings and can't understand why we need it and how much is this costing the RFL ,much rather have a one up and one down and as it stands we are miles away from getting into super league.

In my opinion we are nowhere near Super League standard in a lot of respects. I'd imagine Wakey, Toulouse, Bradford, and possibly Widnes and Fev will get a higher IMG rating than the Knights To be honest, I'd rather watch games like we've seen the last two weeks, close exciting games between evenly matched sides.

We are miles away under either system. Under the IMG system we would at least have a chance of being competitive if/when we get there.

See the highlights posted have the score 16-6.. 🤦‍♀️

Haven’t watched them yet, I’ll be pleasantly surprised if this week we don’t have Andy telling us a try has happened 5 seconds before we see it.

Funny though georgeb1 how we need the chance to better ourselves and we even allow ourselves to criticise IMG which incidentally I feel like they are taking money out of our sport by doing what?  Like you I feel like Super League is not the be all and end all of ambition. Who indeed wants to get beaten heavily every week? Glory fans walk away and the club ends up financially embarrassed. The Championship can survive with the right rewards at the end of a season for being successful only if the RFL recognise this and dump the firm that already has taken nearly half a million out of the bank. Wakefield last season were getting crowds of around 3 and 4 thousand+. This season because they have been successful crowds have been 5 or 6 thousand. So to better these crowds Trinity will have to have a successful Super League season. It's something to watch out for. Leigh and Hull KR have managed to break the mould but can Trinity do the same?

we were told at the start of this season that the season was pointless and of no interest due to IMG gradings and no promotion...well if the season weve had has been a waste of time its sure as heck been an exciting and enjoyable waste of time. lets have many more. we are now in a playoff system that could win us some silverware but at the end of it we dont get a season of being hammered every game. i can only see positives in that. in the pixel counters we trust!
