Wigan just look like they are a team that switch right on for occasions like this. They are pretty clinical with playing out their territorial game plan.

Grinds you down and Leigh just aren't able to  build any field position to counter at the mo. Leigh need to score early or this is over.

Leigh need to score next and hope for a piece of indiscipline from Wigan that might level the odds in the second half.

It was though an object lesson in turning errors into points straight away by the home side.

If Leigh are feeling the effects of fatigue then nothing will empty their tanks quicker than facing a big deficit on the scoreboard.

It was over after Wigans second try.

I hope Beaumont hasn't wasted any money getting a pie baked this week.

He must be lying low, the cameras would have picked him out by now

There’s a lack of intensity. A game too far for Leigh who have been playing catch up for weeks now.  Too many penalties and soft defence from them. Wigan still in first gear.

Not if Leigh had made the man overlap count... Miski made a half decent job of it minus the speed.

Oof, that was a big gap, even for Walters.

That rated half a smile on the Peet-o-meter.

How can you lie low in a leopard-skin suit?

Leopards (and indeed Jaguars) manage it.

Does this help KR or Wigan most?

A week off and not getting out of 1st gear in your semi is not ideal prep. But then you are pretty fresh.

Christ have we not evolved past the time when supposedly professional commentators joke about how they can't pronounce a player's name?

To be fair, the name in question is an intimidating four whole letters long.

Not something simple and straightforward like Nawaqanitawase.

It seemed odd that Robbie Hunter-Paul explained how to pronounce it properly and he was like 'nah not doing that'.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Followed by a mention of Martin O'Fire in the stands. No relation to Martin Offy-ah.
