This hasn't had the publicity of some previous campaigns, so here are the details:

With Rob very much at the heart of the challenge, the number seven continues to inspire us, in recognition of the shirt number Rob wore throughout his illustrious career in rugby league. The team will visit seven regions of the United Kingdom and each day will be broken into 7km blocks. We will cover distances in excess of 50km each day and hope to raise £777,777.

The challenge begins on 1st December 2024 with a run from Liverpool to Wrexham, before we head to Gloucester, Bristol, and Belfast. We will head to Glasgow and then on to Hull, Northampton, and Leicester, before heading to Manchester and then home to Saddleworth on 7th December.

We went down to the MKM where there was a guard of honour from Hull FC as the runners took a detour through the stadium in front of the West Stand. Kev seemed really pleased to see some of his old team-mates. Hull City were well represented too.

Good to see so much cash going into the collection bucket as well.

He's travelling back to Middlesbrough a bit early this year isn't he? Seems to have a problem with his sat nav as well. Guess he's another 19 days left to get there mind.

With ugly predictability, Sinfield's lack of a knighthood is being weaponised by trolls/bots on social media raging that the three-times elected Mayor of London* is getting one but Kev isn't. Scratch beneath the surface and it is a load of typo-ridden accounts with single-figure stats.

*that mayor being a brown-skinned non-Christian.

Why does finding him getting a knighthood ludicrous make you a right wing extremist? It's a total joke, and I suspect you know it too.

Just stick to the subject and stop frothing about people with different opinions.

Apparently he was carrying a calf injury for quite a lot of the challenge too.

It goes without saying what a brilliant job Kev and the team have done in relation to MND and Rob etc. Guys you have all been absolutely brilliant. Now then. Please guys take some time out for yourselves. You have nothing left to prove. I sincerely mean this please take a step back for the sake of your own health etc. Finally to the powers that be. Please reward this man and his team accordingly. That is all I will say apart from one final thank you guys.

I think you'll  find he has plans to do 7 challenges in all, and this was only number 5. He said on BBC breakfast that the team will be back together in the first week of December 2025 for for the next one.
