paff
Well we been playing ugly and won three (dont say owt about bradford missed killer punch in first 18 mins) We beat fax by the same amount as leigh did and they scored in last minute like us.So Sheff put more against london than leigh did so for me a good general on pitch a good crowd behind the lads and dont get drawn into how leigh play and we could just suprise a few people

If we get close to Leigh on Sunday it will almost certainly have been our best performance of the season, unless they have a really bad off day. Everything's possible, but we're clear second favourites this weekend. Still, some of our best performances in recent years have come off this sort of scenario. The Phantom Horseman
Leigh, we, have 6 out and will there for the taking 6 out? Luxury! We'll see your six out and raise you the 12 we had out (including the 2 non-arrived Aussies) on Sunday ie Bussey, Chappell, Minns, Tonks, Lockwood, Nicholson, Walmsley, Mendeika, Hardman, Teasdale, Maitua and Verlinden. Steve Slater
I know that Leigh dominated the All-Stars 13 last season, but to suggest that some of those were better than ours was rubbish. What they are, is a TEAM, they play like a team, and back up like a team, and they have an outstanding pair of half-backs. I thought it was phenomenal the way they broke from their own half with support on either side in numbers, yet when we break there is hardly anyone up in support to pass to. I don't know how we can stop their support play other than using football tactics as soon as the break starts, maybe by running across their support runners to delay them? We did have our moments against them though and showed signs of dominating them in the forwards, like the cup game at their place before Dale & Bostock got injured, and when we came back at them at Headingley. The pack have been very good so far, and Bozzy, who missed most of last season, is every bit as good as Barlow. So if Fev can keep it tight, and try to make it a forward battle we have a good chance, if we try to match them in the backs we can forget it. That is what will make Sunday interesting the pack is fine the backs have had a bad run of injuries it is probable that 3 of our 4 three quarters will miss sunday - the pack has MoiMoi returning from the funeral, Goulden from suspension and Spencer played his first game last weekend. Cardypaul
Would love to see us do it on Sunday but I think it's going to be a bit early in the season for us we haven't got a settled side yet, but when they are all fit and available we have got some talent. So I for one will turn up on Sunday cheer the lads on and hope we have a good day.
Phil Loxton
Think we'll find Leigh at full strength or close to it. Kidology springs to mind in these big games

AlanE
How good is your playing surface, since you had all the ground work done? Our guys love playing on a firm surface, like the one at LSV and the superb pitch at the Keepmoat last week. The 'bog' at 'Fax was something else though! Looking forward to seeing the re-modelled POR.
elppaxr2i
Dont think youll be playing on the firm surface you enjoy but wont be a halifax peat bog pitch though
Phil Loxton
Only difference is AlanE is that your players will have to run a bit further than they normally would do at Post Office Road. And the ground looks great now thanks to our hard working volunteers and people who have spent money donating to a marvellous cause.Enjoy your visit but not too much.
