Either we are only making one more signing, or whoever posted it has absolutely no idea what penultimate means.

Plus the fact I already thought Blake had signed.

All very odd.

What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

Penultimate derives from 2 Latin words, penis and ultimare. It means if you make a cock up of this you get one more go!

I think it also deserved a bit of a better write up. It is almost as if it was done while waiting for a taxi to go out! Goes back to the image of our club that our website portrays!

And ernieone wont be happy theyre still using that silly image of the charabang to represent the supporters club

Could it possibly mean that there is one more to come outside of the 2/3 rumoured to be coming from other clubs but still playing games.

As stated somewhere we will not name them whilst their club is still playing.

Cheers Roger.

On second thoughts I wonder if it's the penultimate signing of our currant squad.

This was one of the items raised a few weeks back when the Chairman asked for ideas to improve things.

But where are the rest of the exciting signings that JK mentions? If we don't make announcements until the players' current seasons are over, then that must mean that all our incomers are from Fev/Broncos/Rhinos/Wigan/Giants and Saints, cos they're the only teams left playing!! Don't drip feed. let's have the banquet.

Rumours that Keiron Hyde may be joining you.

Excited?

I'd be happy to see him come in as back-up for the half-back roles. I really don't think he'd be a first choice given the names that have been mooted.

To be honest, I've always considered him a reasonable player who isn't a stand-out by any means but can 'do a job' if called upon. However, I've got to admit that I was a bit taken aback by his apparent lack of physical fitness when I attended one of your games this season. He was definitely carrying a bit of timber and struggled to keep pace with the game from full-back.

In short; no, I'm not 'excited' by this rumour. On the flip side, the prospect of Kieran Hyde as back-up is probably far less horrifying than the thought of having to suffer through another season of Jason Crookes.

Is he related to Kieran Hyde?

Yes. He's his mis-typed twin.

I was speaking to kieran and he said nothing has been sorted but he seems to know he's physical fitness is one key area to work to find a decent club for 2016.

If he did come and found his fitness and learnt under our half backs he isn't a bad player from what i'v seen in his bulls & wakey days.. So who knows strength in depth will help in 2016 tom as is something we'v lacked in a few seasons

Hasn't looked fit this season, but last year he scored some good tries, and always seemed to be the one who got back to make the important tackles - he saved a fair few long range tries. I always liked him, and I'm sorry he hasn't been retained rather than Crookes as a utility player. If he gets a good pre season, I reckon he'll make your first team squad most weeks.

Censorship ends in logical completeness when nobody is allowed to read any books except the books that nobody reads.
