I don't know why, but I got all mellow tonight and ended up back in the 70s and 80s.

Okay! I got mellow. Now I'm ###### off. Why can't I post these links? You want them one at a time, JD? Fine! Suck on it!

Chris Rea: Josephine.

More wine! I need more wine!

Right! And I wait 30 seconds.

More to come.

And there's more!

And another.

And finally, my favourite.

Elkie Brooks: We Don't Cry Out Loud.

I cannot listen to this without my eyes getting all wet. I think it's fantastic. There are other versions out there. Melissa Manchester's is great, but very american and somehow not quite to my taste. Shirley Bassey's is just all wrong (for me) as her voice is just too strong and it drowns the pathos out. Elkie Brooks' version is divine.

Okay, John or Craig, why couldn't I do all that in one post? Even two posts?

Crazy! And now, instead of being all mellow and relaxed and calm, I'm wired and want to hit something.

I need more wine!

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Also wonderful to see Hull born guitar legend Mick Ronson on there. He grew up on the same council estate that I did.
