Lee Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Fantastic acheivement to make the 8 A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance. He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas. And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.
Maximus Decimus Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I'd second that. Well done Cru, hopefully you get some good publicity from it across Wales. A Widnesian in Ireland blog What is the best system for Super League? An honest appraisal
amm Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) put my well done in the game thread, but they can have another (until Friday...then it's war ) (or maybe Sat) Edited September 4, 2010 by amh Whilst I do not suffer fools gladly, I will always gladly make fools suffer A man is getting along on the road of wisdom when he realises that his opinion is just an opinion
The Best The Beautiful The Only Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Yep, well done Crusaders.
Kenilworth Tiger Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Yep, well done Crusaders. Indeed - to finish so far ahead of Bradford is brilliant - good old Nobby Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in. I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.
hindle xiii Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Indeed - to finish so far ahead of Bradford is brilliant - good old Nobby I should've checked here before posting commiserations on the match thread.
The Best The Beautiful The Only Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Indeed - to finish so far ahead of Bradford is brilliant - good old Nobby Certainley is, it's what you get for having a top class coach and what we deserve for binning him and employing a nobody in the hope that he could continue Nobby's legacy.
goldcard Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Exceeded my expectations too, well done. Thought they'd be "in the mix" for 8th, didn't think they'd get over the line, well done Nobby and the team, and fans too. Wires record breaking 10 match run: L 16-17 ; L 34-36 ; L 24-44 ; L 20-38 ; L 8-46; L 14-26 ; L 20-40 ; L 22-48 ; L 14-20 ; L 8-60. Thanks Jimmy. The Glamour Club. Apparently. WelshpoolMarauder Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Well done to the boys. Standing in the ground during the 'final minute' of the Cas game, which seemed to last about 10 years, was one of the most nerve-wracking times of my life!!! After Sammut's try, myself and the missus agreed to name our first-born Jarrod. I suspect she thinks that only applies if it's a boy...

Awh..he's my fav import - he's so 70's porn star throwback - he makes me smile ...and he can play, which is a bonus -_- Whilst I do not suffer fools gladly, I will always gladly make fools suffer A man is getting along on the road of wisdom when he realises that his opinion is just an opinion

The lad is a magician! Exhibit A - Crusaders v Salford, big Salford lad smashes it up the middle, hands off Sammut, who then takes the ball from his other hand and runs off...
1976PMJwires Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Congrats to Cru Cru Crusaders Made up for Cofi and Jannerboy....... Big things wait ahead... enjoy. Great chance of a win at the Hudds.
amm Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 PLAY?? The lad is a magician! Exhibit A - Crusaders v Salford, big Salford lad smashes it up the middle, hands off Sammut, who then takes the ball from his other hand and runs off... yes yes yes...his playing caught my eye first of course, and that's the best bit about him...but you've got to love his look as well What really impresses me is that he slipped straight into the team and has performed from word go, well whenever I've seen him. He really exudes enthusiasm for the team and game. Last night he was struggling to give a urine sample ages after the game because he was so hyped up with the result - he loves his rugby I hope he doesn't show his class next Saturday though Whilst I do not suffer fools gladly, I will always gladly make fools suffer A man is getting along on the road of wisdom when he realises that his opinion is just an opinion

Looking at another thread I actually feel quite guilty. We've torn whole families and communities apart by bringing our sport to this North Welsh enclave. The question of whether to go follow the Crusaders to Huddersfield or to stay loyal to Wrexham who are playing at same time, could cause a civil war in Wrexham. The enthusiasm is brilliant to see, I really hope they win next week.
