Futtocks
Could I make a request for this thread please? If you're recommending a programme (or the opposite), can you mention what channel or streaming service is showing it? I'll try to do so in future. 1 Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. I see it has been renewed for a second series but can't think what that is gonna be about but I'm guessing it's not going to be following the source material, assuming this first series is an adaptation of the entire novel. Pole to Pole was the second series , I’ve just finished it

Stirlin
On Amazon Prime , Goliath.....yet another small time brief taking on a major law firm , but this one is really good as the company being pursued for compensation is a multi billion arms manufacturer , cue loads of brick walls thrown up and other nasties to prevent a court case. As it is an 8 part series plenty of time to flesh out the characters and plot. With Billy Bob Thornten , Maria Bellow and William Hurt. Futtocks
For fans of a certain Japanese TV show of the Seventies, here's Monkey and Pigsy singing together on some sort of TV special. Some of the most shameless mugging to camera I've seen since Lee Briers and Sam Tomkins. Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted. Better than expected , now in series 2 with McBride defending a teen accused of a murder he did not commit . Said murder is down to a Mex cartel who are busy laundering money through a dodgy construction company in LA . Being Mex cartel cue loads of blood and other nasties , singer/actor Paul Williams makes his first appearance.
Futtocks
On BBC2 at 11:05pm this evening, you can watch the brand new US version of Have I got News for you. God knows what it'll be like, or how it'll be received across the pond. Hat Trick Productions are trying to revive the panel show format in the USA, where's been out of fashion for ages. Even Hollywood Squares fizzled out 20 years ago, and that was an outlier. Bedford Roughyed
Slow Horses Series 4 on Apple. Hidden away on a small channel. Deserves a bigger audience. 2 With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

David Threlfall seems to have just been asked to reprise his role as Frank in Shameless but as some kind of cyber genius this time. That said I watched the whole thing and thought it was pretty entertaining nonsense. Plenty of references for the railway nerds among us too. 1 1 "I'm from a fishing family.
