Totally not the wrong descision to get rid of him

JS didnt play him for whatever reason last season (fell out with him so ive heard) so JS probably wouldnt have played him this season

He wouldve rotted away on the sidelines - pointless having an unhappy player on the books let him get on with his career elsewhere

Good luck to him at Cas - got an unexpected chance tonight with Monaghan breaking down but took his chance well, can see a run in the team for him now

We "got rid" of Jy? Is that true? He wasnt alone in a number of players that didnt turn out for us after missing out on the top 4. But until that point he was fantastic. It was he and Marginet who ripped Bradford to shreds down the left wing. So maybe he was disapponted we didnt make Super League. who wouldnt be? Maybe JS realised he wouldnt be staying next season and wanted to blood some players who would be staying. Fair play to him for taking his chance tonight Im chuffed hes ex Fev.

so wasnt filmed out partying then? Isnt playing XBox/selling raffle tickets what youre meant to do when not fit for training? Arent saying anything other than that noone appears to know the full story.

Looked really sharp against a very good hull side tonight. Wrong decision to get rid of him? I know hull never tested him under high ball, but on that performance him and Turner on the wings would of looked strong in my opinion.

Be very careful expressing your opinions about a player especially positive ones or you get accused of being a stalker!!!

He wasn't fantastic all season though, he was poor at centre in the next game against Dewsbury. It took half a season to get the best out of him after being tried at full back, centre and right wing. It wasn't until he played on the left wing toward the end that his fantastic hand-off could be used to best effect.

It's a pity though that he didn't see eye to eye with JS, but then again maybe not, because if he was being paid as much as they say the club may not have been able to afford Thackeray?

Heard him and Sharpe didn't see eye to eye from there very 1st meeting and jy mentioning been coached by Tim sheens in the past. Like u say there's lots of rumours and he's gone now, concentrate on what we've got.

No doubt Jy will be on facebook expressing his views if he is criticised.....
