That + 18 000 in a 55 000 stadium made us look silly.

not at all. Only RL fans would come away from a fabulous event at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona complaining we looked silly.

One of the best events and weekends of my life.

But then Catalans lost so probably a load of nonsense about ref victimisation.

Other than that game don't Warrington have the record for being the opponents for the highest attendance against Catalan off these shores.

Correct Dave T Catalan v Wigan in Montpelier had an attendance of  13,858

They got 11.5k in 2012 v Warrington, I may have been getting at a cross with the best in Perpignan.

Montpellier that's the one. I think Wire had the record for a spell at Perpignan, then Barcelona we were selected due to the large following iirc, wasnt there a game in Toulouse too? Hull KR perhaps?

Not sure what year that was. I went to Montpellier about 5 years ago v Wigan, but don't remember the crowd being that big. Circa 10000 I think. Could be wrong.

2012 biggest crowd Stade Mosson Montpellier  v Wigan 13,858

2012 biggest crowd to date at Brutus was Easter Monday  v Wire 11,526

2013 biggest at Toulouse v Hull KR 14,858

2013 Brutus got 11,576 for WC game V Samoa

Saturday sounds like a club record anyway - not sure of the capacity now.

Test Matches v GB in 1962 both show 12,500.

Remarkable in what they've achieved.
