158lbs on the nose this week, 2lbs breathing room under my goal weight.  Been within +/- 4lbs of that since November 2019 now which i have to keep reminding myself about so I don't slip back.  Too much invested and too much gained now to go back to where I was.  Kind of sucky with not being able to hit the gym here, lockdown and the streets not ploughed or salted in my area but still aim on running 500km this year.

Back to doing 60 front and side crunches per day on the inversion table, best piece of kit I've gotten that's helped the spine issues; working the resistance band 'weights' every other day as well.

Great to see others stepping up too!  You've got this!

71.4kg today, that's quite a drop and I'll probably get a bounce upwards tomorrow. I've not been below 70kg since the 1980s.

Sticking at 91kg this week. Looks like after three lockdowns a bit more effort than avoiding butty vans at work is required.

As expected, a bit of a jump today back to 71.9kg - this is still 0.8kg for the week, which is pretty much the average fall since October.

Weight the same at 80kg. Need to sort out the diet side of things as I find myself snacking a helluva lot whilst bored during lockdown afternoons and evenings.

I have a bowl of nuts to stop me eating only chocolate.

In my defence
Half a bottle of whisky will do that to you.

Appreciate your doing this for us all!  I guess the question is what you're going to do with the other half, or at least how long it'll take 😉  Stay safe mate 👍

The first half happened because I was enjoying a cheeky wee glass on Thursday evening at around 10.30. Mrs Shadow's mother had to go into hospital for an injection in her eyes so I was homealone and could get away with having a quiet nightcap before bed on a schoolnight.

At 10.38 I got a facebook message from a very old friend and former business partner that I hadn't spoken to for the best part of two years and over the course of a three hour chat (Mrs ex-business partner is a nurse and was on a night shift so he was homealone too) I kept topping up my glass as did he. I only realised how much I'd consumed when I stood up and it was much more challenging than I'm used to. Fortunately for me I'd booked Friday off work because I could not have legally driven until Saturday at a guess. I have since been told he killed half a bottle of Mountgay Rum over the same conversation.

Edit to add

I expect the balance will take a year or more to go. I have quite a range of Whiskies but these days my preferred spirit is Tanqueray's sevile orange gin

@Shadow Ouch, sneaky the way that happens!  November 2019 that happened to me and a sizable remainder of a bottle of Bushmills.  I've had maybe three or four glasses of wine and perhaps the same of Pennsylvania apple moonshine since.  Getting too old for this lol

Painkillers go up, so does weight.  159.7lbs this week.  Less on the the activity but still getting walking and stretching done.

Up 0.1lbs to 159.8 this week.  Got out for a few short walks to at least keep some activity going though it's been -10 to -15 here this week!  Stretching and inversion table work without adding serious load.  Taking some positives this week as the physical setbacks had often in the past set off mental spirals downward but that hasn't happened as badly this time.
