clifford Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 There has been some good publicity on twitter. Being on our league app is a plus. Don't know whether it will be behind a paywall. Downside for meis a digital programme for £3.00. If people want a physical programme then there should be a facility to buy them at the match.

OL14.yeds Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 There’s some interesting comments in this week’s League Express from Lock Lane regarding the the 6 o’clock kick off time. They’re not happy about the start time and say they proposed four other times, claiming they’re struggling with players getting time off work and switching shifts.
shrewsbury roughyed Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 I don’t know anyone’s personal circumstances but you’d think Sunday evening would be a time when you’d get the best likelihood of fewer people working.

Sunday evening is likely to affect fewer players availability than any other time

eclecticsheep Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 IF we do defeat the very good Lock Lane outfit there is in the offering a slight possibility of a hybrid version of the law cup as Rochdale Mayfield beat West Hull this aft 18-16. What a treat that would be especially if it was at Castleton Sport centre where i`ve been lurking for many years now!
J Dyson Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Is anyone signed in to our league live stream for oldhams game? I cant seem to join although a member?

Bedford Roughyed Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Filthy conditions. Any in attendance deserve a medal. With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
moorside roughyed Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Absolutely fuming. Feel for the fans who've paid for it. That said Lock Lane have been superb. Heart, determination, everything. Stuart will have to have a word at half time. Come on Oldham for god's sake!
Bedford Roughyed Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Good reaction with a quick try. (Maybe a hint of forward...) Any conversions will be fantastic. Bedford Roughyed Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Bad to even worse. With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
moorside roughyed Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Floodlights again. Happened against Wakefield. Absolutely brilliant. Spiffing.

spw1 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Well, we saw some last season, but this takes the biscuit, absolutely nothing from the halves, constantly running up the middle, only the names have been changed.
J Dyson Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 What a shambles! Wish I hadn’t bothered eventually getting on our league to view. Its going to be a long hard season very disappointing
Oldham 1 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 First off all credit to Lock Lane totally deserved the win great attitude and playing for each other , as for us our attitude seems dreadful never looked interested in the simple hard work that's required in a game like this , no structure in attack all game and we don't look anything like fit which is inexcusable , the drop from brierley over the line sums up all his time with us so far as in useless , we need to sort ourselves out fast cos that tonight won't get past mid table league 1

moorside roughyed Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Well done Lock Lane. Oldham have a lot to do before the start of the season. Glad I didn't waste my money. We have to be Miles better than that for league 1. First time in two years I'm a season ticket holder, what have I let myself in for?
chiefgeneral Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 The floodlights performed better than Oldham and thats saying something. Fair play to Lock Lane
shrewsbury roughyed Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 That was an embarrassment. Right side defence, as last week, abysmal. Knock ons galore. Brierley failes to ground the ball over the try line- the nearest person from Castleford being on the crowd. Spencer needs to up his game. Hoping for the most mistakes of the season already. One dimensional. No ideas. Out thought. Out enthused. Out coached. No link between forwards and backs. Worst and most inept display since, well, since last season. Might have been better with the floodlights completely off- though we’d probably have still lost. Embarrassing.
roughyed1064 Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 should have kept lights turned off, ;load of ######. not a snow flake in hells chance of promotion like this.
