Ritson is probably one of the quickest players in the league, you just need to tell Mark Percival to actually pass the ball for once in his career.

Ritson looks like one of those players who’s an absolute flyer until he gets the ball in his hands.

Wigan still hoping to sign Luke Thompson. Guessing it will be an expensive deal if they pull it off, would they likely be trying to offload anyone player(a) to make room in the budget / cap if they it does happen?

Wigan have 9 props for next. season making Thompson, if he signs, the tenth. It is assumed Chan and Hill will go out on loan to return 2025 replacing Cooper and Mago. My guess is the Marquee at Wigan will be French, non fed trained, Thompson, fed trained with Farrell being the club trained player. As has been said Walters will probably replace Pearce-Paul in the back row.

The pack has been seen by some as a weakness at Wigan, seems like next season might put and end to that.

Momorovski to replace MacDonald at Leeds. A very different type of centre, technically a better centre but less athletic and will make less metres out of yardage. A reasonable replacement but not someone to get excited over

Indeed, he also insisted that he had done nothing wrong vis a vis Leeds.

Not sure of your point, he played the back end of the season and is no longer injured. Hardly an inspiring signing but he’s been part of some good systems and is a genuine centre. Better pick up than Brenko Lee

agreed but he only played due to manu and others been out - having said that he has played his early footy as a stand off so - who knows?

Lol, But he was going to come back?

He was never coming back, perhaps if it was choice he might have but family considerations took precedence

He’s a back up NRL centre for top sides, but MacDonald was no different

I get the sense that he was told he could go for the birth, and given Leeds had very little hope by the time he didn't come back it wasn't worth it. Certainly seems to be what he himself is suggesting:
