Well you barely made it this time.

Maybe it was because someone on the organising committee realised that the Eiffel Tower isn't actually in London.

Apparently we have to save English rugby league & then when & if we win or just show our bronzed, smug, arrogant Aussie faces you want us to ###### off & stop ruining rugby league? We can’t take a trick, damned if we do & damned if we don’t

I thought the ref was good.

It was a tough, intense game and he only blew 7 penalties in the game and let the players just get on with it.  And he kept 26 players on the pitch when the Aussies started a bit of shoving and the same when the Kiwis did.

If that's the type of refereeing performance we fume at then we will never be happy.

The referee was fine its the video ref who is not up to muster!

No need to get personal, I could mention the moustaches and mullets and general Aussie fashion sense that is stuck in the 80s but I only have several times in this thread so there's no need for the insults.

😂😂 they’re young & having fun, it’s movember, they’re raising money for cancer

The fashion sense you say? Like wearing those horrible football shirts everywhere? Even to nightclubs, bloody hell 😂

Im a shorts & tshirts kinda fella 12 months of the year myself 😎👍🏼

He was half a stride offside - quite clear and was probably called by the TJ as well because Klein called No Try when he went up to the video.

I am not arguing it wasn’t offside; just though the video ref was a bit quick with his decision, as when the BBC post-match analysed it, it was only his right boot that was ahead. Closer than I thought at the time.

That’s the thing that puzzled me, Kendall watched it once from a bad angle and did the “I’ve watched all available angles” bit. Just as he finished saying that they showed 2 other angles which, as you say, clearly showed Manu’s hand on Wighton when his arm was on the floor. So obviously he did not view all available angles.

I did think he made his mind up a bit too quickly. I thought it was ok though tbh.

It wasn't movember last month, players still sported the facial hair.

Must not live in Sydney then.

I thought it was nearly level at the time. If NZ could have taken one of those changes then I think they would have won, fair play to Aus though for giving it everything for 80 minutes. Pulsating match!

Football shirts? WTF are you actually talking about?

You would be very lucky to get into a nightclub where I live in a football shirt.

However, as I said earlier, I am starting to feel sorry for you, so I will let it go.

Always the England three lions carryon, not talking about stirring up rivals etc which in itself is uniquely European & puerile, you couldn’t get into a fight in Sydney if you tried just for wearing the wrong sporting shirt in the wrong area

Wighton wasn't held by Manu, who dropped off the tackle. Everyone who has played or reffed the game knows that placing a hand on a prone attacker is a quite specific scenario and very much not what Manu did in that video still.

Blimey.

It shows why screenshots of incidents are not a reliable way of judging them.

I'm sorry, but that post just doesn't make the slightest bit of sense. I'm trying for you lad but you are using up your chances at a fast clip.

what’s wrong with facial hair?
they’re on tour, that kind of funny stuff always happens, it’s bonding, they get to laugh at each other’s horrible moustaches

There's nothing wrong with up to date facial hair but in Europe no one (very few anyway) under the age of about 50 goes for a moustache these days, in fact hasn't for decades, especially not one that wouldn't look out of place in a 70s porn film.

And it's certainly not just cos they're 'on tour', Australia has to be the country in the world with the highest moustache to population ratio from what I've seen, and I'm including women in that stay as well.
