Still time for him to injure a few more players in training then. What a stellar contribution he’s made to the club in the last 12 months.  Never known a team to sustain so many crippling injuries in training as this one.  What the chuff are they doing? Well at least Antrobus won’t be signing for anyone else anytime soon. Hope the lad recovers fully and swiftly.

Don't think the pitch had anything to do with Baileys injury, Pauli Pauli crashed into him and stood on him, think that would hurt most players, another way of looking at our training is were a lot fitter than most teams, how many games have we been behind at H.T. and gone on to win.

Have they only trained on it this season then ? , how many years have we used the facilities at York St Johns ?.

6 years we've been training there now, in actual world class facilities.

But the school playing fields were better...

Bet he wished he’d signed for next year now. Don’t suppose Leeds will touch him now. Shame. Would have gone well in super leagu

Has he signed for another club for next season as a lot of players seem to sign for other club's by now,but do feel gutted for him if he is super league bound.

The New Zealand rugby World Cup squad chose to train there too I’m sure they would have looked at the facilities to see if they’re up to standard which they are it’s just unfortunate with injuries.

Indeed Roger , never known a season like it.....in better news Graham Steadman will be donning his boots again , give the youngsters who have never seen him play a treat.

York RLFC legend Graham Steadman to return to field with All Stars!

Has anyone else listened to Hendos pre match interview for the Newcastle game, he was talking about Bailey and it sounded like Bailey's signed for next year, hope so he could be back as soon as February or March, hope so great news if correct

The injuries have been horrific this year but many have happened in the pitch at home and away it’s just bad luck. I was speaking to someone at the club a few weeks ago they were equally frustrated they said they had looked into the training methods to see if this was a cause but all the injuries are mostly different so there was no pattern. Let’s hope we have seen the last of the injuries and stay clear for the rest of the season and next season too.

Back in the day you could almost name the same team every week. I think the main problem is playing on hard pitches since the summer era began

Another reason could also be, years ago both teams had to go back 5 yards at the P,T,B, now its 10 yards and with players being fitter and faster, there hitting each other harder.
