With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

  • Bedford Roughyed changed the title to Friday 23rd June: L1: Dewsbury V Oldham: KO 7.30pm, Flair Stadium, Dewsbury

The Oldham Times this morning Thursday 22nd had a very large headline saying we are playing against DIDSBURY on Friday and it goes onto say that Littler said we have to compete for EIGHT minutes.

Contacting the paper they apologised.

I hope we are playing against Didsbury we might have a chance especially if we only compete for eight minutes!

Think they mean restalls much better and experienced replacement McNally.

Give me Restall over McNally any day. Look McNally is a very good player and played at a good level throughout his career and if he's your player he's the dog's doo dahs, but if he's not he's a pain in the butt. Let's just enjoy what on paper should be a cracking game. Safe journey over from the dark side 😉

Didn’t slater go off injured against Doncaster ?

No Slater isn't injured . We have the 2 best hookers in the division IMO and Slater is young and Oldham born.

At least he has youth on his side, then.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Restall was good for us and we were disappointed when he took the Dewsbury shilling. However it is what it is. Players move and change allegiances. McNally has proved to be a good signing. Our sights are now on being strong enough to win the play offs. Although improbable, automatic promotion is still possible.
