"The ball appears to be on the line". The words you don't want to hear when a video ref decision has been sent up as a try and no angle shows the ball on the line.

England getting away with these errors coming away from there line. When they play the likes of Aus and NZ they won’t be.

Wales playing really well but their mistakes with the line beckoning is killing them. England should also have seen red for that high shot. England will win comfortably in the end but it's great to see a competitive game.

A lot of white line fever from Wales where you just feel if they stop hitting the crash ball they would find some success out wide if they could just improve their handling a bit.

Almost impossible nowadays to dive on a loose ball without one of the officials imagining a knock-on. Phil Gould would have said "little bobble".

That really annoyed me. A terrible call but as you say these frequently get given now. Don't get me started on knock-ons given when the ball goes backwards!

I thought the system they used in the rugby union world cup was good - yellow card the player and then have a closer look at the incident during the 10 minute sin bin, to see if it should remain as a yellow or be upgraded to a red.

Pundits at half time seemed to think that should have been a red, but either way I think having more time to assess things without needing to stop the game, is a good system.

I think that's a great idea and could work very well. It was clearly a yellow at the least so on that occasion it would have worked well.

I smiled when Molyneux said the Welsh player dipped into the tackle.  Cause she didn't.

Result probably a forgone conclusion but the Welsh didn't quit and kept trying. They might've even had a couple of tries themselves.

Brilliant to see the huge amount of selfies the women were taking with star-struck young fans. I also saw the mighty Amy Hardcastle take of her boots and give them to a young girl in the crowd. Class.
