Almost impossible nowadays to dive on a loose ball without one of the officials imagining a knock-on. Phil Gould would have said "little bobble".

That really annoyed me. A terrible call but as you say these frequently get given now. Don't get me started on knock-ons given when the ball goes backwards!

I thought the system they used in the rugby union world cup was good - yellow card the player and then have a closer look at the incident during the 10 minute sin bin, to see if it should remain as a yellow or be upgraded to a red.

Pundits at half time seemed to think that should have been a red, but either way I think having more time to assess things without needing to stop the game, is a good system.

I think that's a great idea and could work very well. It was clearly a yellow at the least so on that occasion it would have worked well.
