Hoping for plenty of RL references tonight with Bunting and Smith both playing.

Bunting is a Liverpool fan and Smith, Manchester United ....so..just saying. BTW Luke Littler is also a Man U fan and met United outcast Donny Van Der Beek at the Pally, and later shared a photo of the two of them as a gesture of support.

Littler was also seen before tournament with Warrington players, like most people have favorites in many sports not just football.

Really not sure the point of this post. What's the relevance of football on this thread?

I was responding to Eddie who thought because Bunting and Smith were playing the commentary would be bigging up RL. As it turned out the only mention was the commentator saying,  " a bad night for St Helen's " as Smith was bulldozed 4 to 0.

Not a good omen for Littler, Sky showed him good luck messages from Manchester United's Johnny Evans and Gary Neville, Littler being a fan. Neville wished him the United spirit....er ...they lost this evening at Forest. Admit I'd love to see Barney win the title.

Not sure if he ever played darts on the pub scene, but should think there a few pubs round Warrington double checking there are no photos about of him drinking pints on their premises.

Warrington has only had a proper 501 darts league for about a year now. Littler does play in it, for The Tavern.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Littler's fellow Warrington-supporting darts player. He's from somewhere in Eastern Europe and many consider him the flukiest player on the circuit ... Inoff the Wire.

They did for his first game, then it became all about Man Utd.

His cousin is a lucky snooker player.
