There are currently zero international games scheduled.

I am very ready to discover that the NRL did not spend its own money in Las Vegas but it did spend the IRL's.

Gus Gould has given this idea his backing.

Confirms it's a bad idea.

It's 3412 miles - which makes me wonder about the rest of your "research".

Not that any of it will bring the Wolfpack back.

3412 rounds down to 3000 so its around 3000 as stated.

Pedantic post by yourself but ok....

this more recent list than the Wikipedia article I think you read has some changes including the IPL far higher at #4 than what was listed in Wiki. AFL beats Serie A at #13.

Other lists are available, but I find none with as many as the wiki one and this one.

AFL beats Serie A??? 😂😂😂 Next joke

Toronto is around 3000km from Manchester.

And miles rounds to kilometres I suppose.

I don’t think it is that hard to believe that one of the world’s highest spectated sports is as high on the rankings as it is in the article?

Please don’t subject me to so much Gus. Do you remember at what minute he was talking about it?

I like his comment about the ineffective IRL.

Whose fault is that ?   Australia's.

I would also add that those on here that think a SL match would replace an NRL one are dreaming.

The NRL clubs would only allow it if 3 matches which is far too many in a row.

Prediction next year Storm/Warriors/Raiders/Eels

REPORTS in Australia are suggesting that the NRL has received an approach from the RFL seeking an investment in the Super League competition.

“This masthead understands the opportunity could result in the NRL owning 20 to 50 percent of the Super League,” said the report.

League Express understands that the game’s commercial arm, RL Commercial, has been in regular touch with the NRL to discuss plans across a range of issues, which could include the NRL investing in the British game.

If this were to happen it would be catastrophic for the game here. We would become a feeder league for the NRL, we can wave goodbye to ever beating Australia if not the international game altogether and we will have to concede to whatever rule changes the NRL wants. These are just a few of the many, many issues with this horrendous idea.
