Can't help but think Fax did Fev a big favor holding off on the Inman announcement. Think Gale may have got longer if they found out Inman was done for the season because of that tackle.

The tackle wasn’t good but was also a accident Inman was falling into tackle that was said the disciplinary

So how many games has Gale got banned and have we signed Eden? Information is not definite.

I totally agree despite what some Fax fans are saying about the tackle but the RFL set a prescedent the other week after the Willie Isa injury which also looked accidental to me but resulted in a long ban likely because of the length of injury lay off for Isa.

As has been said the tackle was deemed an accident by the panel and Gaz isn't a dirty player but you are going to get Fax fan's seeing it differently 😉

If it was deemed accidental surely it shouldn't be a ban at all? 🤔

Who knows with the disciplinary panel.

It can be 'careless' or 'reckless' without being intentional.

I think that's the way the panel saw it.Gale got a red card when it should have been yellow so they may have taken that into consideration.Accidental/careless would be my view of the incident.

Back to Eden (though bearing in mind we still don't have any official confirmation of where he's going)...

I don't disagree with some of the points made about signing ageing players and he hasn't been impressive on his last couple of games for Halifax (and seemed injured)....just putting the alternative viewpoint though for the sake of balance, on the face of it this seems to have some similarities with the England move from Bradford (young family, not enjoying the travelling), and of course if we do sign him the one variable we don't know is how much we're paying him...it might be that we were in quite a strong position in that respect, as you'd think if we had been willing to offer him big money he would have signed for us in the first place in the off-season.

Also...judging on the rumours it sounds like this move might have been in the pipeline for quite a while...it's worth noting that 3 or 4 weeks ago we looked in desperate need of a winger with Wacokecoke struggling and Wynne clearly in the doghouse with Ford.

And taking on board the point that we need middles and a half back more...that may be true, but I just don't think there are any available, and other teams with more money are likely to snap them up when they do become available because everyone is looking for the same positions. We've won 4 in a row with a variety of fill-in half backs and several middles missing, and my guess is the plan is to try and get through the period until Lacans is available again and try to maintain a reasonable league position until then.

Could you look at Eden MAYBE going full back with Aekins 6 or 7?

I was thinking exactly that and then when lacans is back he will go into the wing with wynne at centre

As he was on the Fev bench in Feb polo shirt before the game, think it's safe to say he's signed .....😊

Fev's official FB page has put a video up of him with the caption "enjoy today's win Greg?" 😀

He came to the game on the Fev team bus today, cos my son in law was driving it and he told me. He signed on Wednesday according to my source ( his mam) 😂

So, we've signed Eden all well and good.  I thought after the massive clear out last year we we're looking for young, hungry players to develop, Eden does not fit category at all. So if there is any truth behind the aforementioned ethos Eden's signing belies that.  I don't have a particular beef over this signing but retaining Craig Hall would have (for me) benefited the team more as he can kick goals, play in the centre, full back and winger.

Thanks for not signing him though. Another decent performance from Craig today.
