Crusaders came within a whisker of beating Oldham at Eirias Park, we'll need our very best defence at Boundary Park to cause an upset. We CAN do it.

Coming to terms with a comprehensive loss yesterday. I though Crusaders looked the better team for the first 20 minutes but we just couldn't score. Once Oldham got on the board they never looked like losing. Oldham are a very strong team for League 1 and would probably hold their own in the Championship. Well done to the Yeds on the win.... and I think they'll take the top spot to go up automatically.

To add to our woes Workington won their game so 6th place is now a battle to hold onto, with a real tough run in. After we play Hunslet on 21st July at Eirias Park we have 4 consecutive away games in August at Workington, Keighley, Hunslet and Rochdale with a final home game against Cornwall on 1st September. 

We'll need to battle like we did last season to even get into the top 6 and perhaps other results may be our nemesis.

Keighley game's at home - it's one of those blasted loop fixtures!
