No.

At the minute you could put prime Darren Lockyer behind this pack and he'd look rubbish, so I'm not sure a 38 year old has been that's done nothing in league one is the answer.

Aekins and Addy in the halves is not the answer either.Hampshire is not a play maker more of a runner.Reynolds creates opportunities because he takes the ball near to the defensive line before passing.

I don't disagree. Just think that they're being made to look worse than they actually are as the pack is being battered.

Totally.

We need some big grunting 20 minute per half scary b*stard forwards that defences are terrified of, just as much as we need half backs.

what’s the point in 80 minute mobile forwards if the opposition can run through them in both attack and defence.

Journo John Davidson reckons Cas are trying to sign Connor Wynne (presumably for the rest of the season as he's widely rumoured to be heading to Hull KR next year). Let's hope that doesn't happen.

Don’t quote me on this but I heard other month they was trying to swap Wynne for one Josh simm but nothing came of this 👍

Cas have been snooping on a few of our players in the last few weeks. Trouble is they’ll not even play them!

I know we’ve recently offered improved contracts to a few of our players, so hopefully we can keep the other teams away. I know from some of the lads that they’ve accepted these new Fev contracts and so we should start seeing announcements about that soon.

As I've stated on here before, I think he's a fantastic, naturally gifted talent who appears to have been born to play RL.

But for some reason, he was shown the door at Hull FC. Will we ever know why?, I doubt it, but there must have been a fairly serious issue with him as he was tearing it up, even as a youngster.

Rumoured to have signed for HKR next season, and to be warming up for SL by moving to Cas short term.

There’s quite a few players who fall in the crack of being too good for the championship but not good enough for super league.

It’s very brave making that jump SL, leaving your day job & changing your lifestyle by going full time, then not playing and coming back to the championship tarnished.

Hopefully those being linked make the smart decision and stay 🤣

Matt Shaw says we are set to sign Noah Booth on loan from Hull KR, he's an outside back who has been on loan at Hunslet and has scored 4 or 5 long-range interception tries for them. Hope this isn't related to the Connor Wynne story above but I guess it could be.

Not sure on this being for Connor Wynne but I do believe cas have offered a player swap  Namo for Wynne as cas have to get rid of a quote spot for the signing or amone

Jack Arnold on loan to Goole. Fitness was his issue this year as he was clearly blowing after just a few minutes in the Catalans game. Shame as he did well for us last year.

Noah Booth a Cas lad who played for Lock Lane.Been about a bit Warrington  academy ,Wakey and Hull KR.and on loan at Hunslet. He seems to be able to play in all the back positions plus half back which at his age is commendable.Hope he gets the game time to help Fev and also his future development.

An injury update from Terry Mullaney on the Blue Wall Voice page:

"Carlos has a wrist injury which will keep him out of action, long term. Toby will hopefully return to action in a couple of weeks time after a knee injury".

Shame about Carlos but frankly I think we need Toby more at this stage, Hatton and O'Connor look fine at centre in my opinion but we really could do with having Boothroyd back with Day out again.

This is Craig Booth's son, I'm told.
