Trying to get therer for the start, myv train gts into Leeds at 11.16 and a connection to Burley Park at 11.29 so fingers crossed for no delays en route.

If she had played for one of the top 3 she would have been a regular now for 2/3 seasons, it's got ot the point where even at Huddersfield she cannot be overlooked anymore.

Hope she smashes it, she fully deserves to be there.

A really tough watch, England need better opposition, can they negotiate their way into the Pacific Cup when they aren't playing the Jillaroos?

Interesting that the England performance and control dropped when (I think) Cunningham went off. Surely one if the best and most influential captains in rugby league, female or male. Very strong team performance by England. Lots to work on for Wales.

Her accent isn't one I have heard in quite awhile either.

I saw she played for Lancashire last week, anyone know where her accent is from?

Born in Leeds. Left early in life travelling around, mainly living in Nottingham, according to Google. Played Union first. Also was a heptathlete. Glad she’s in league now.

Doubt that this game will do The England Ladies much good as far as preparation goes for the upcoming series v Australia, very much the same as Englands Men in playing France does.

They are playing Australia in Las Vegas in March first. I doubt England will get within 30 points of Australia.

I have read that the Vegas game is part of the series?

I do expect Australia to be a level above England still.

Australia are better, and the Vegas game and series will be tough.  But I am encouraged that this new generation of English players seem like good athletes and technically pretty good, they are clearly getting better coaching from a younger age.

They have to test themselves against the best and I am sure they are looking forward to it.
