I have, out of nothing more than mild curiosity, purchased the album 'L' by "oh no!" Steve Hillage. I will report on its dreadfulness or otherwise in due course.

 

Actual listening involved Air - Everybody Hertz. A mixed bag of remixes. Mostly enjoyable, but a few stinkers too.

 

And a free'n'legal download; Calidostopia, by Markus Popp (aka Oval). Various Latin American singers, backed by electronics and oddly deconstructed/reconstructed acoustic guitar sounds. Twas album of the day on 6 music the other day.  I was rather impressed and surprised (as well as having a bit of a dislocated feeling, desperately seeking hair gel and cavalry shirt).  I didn't like them very much back in the day, but I was wrong.
