Seem to recall Wigan wearing a blue V on some away kits in the past.. think '87/'88 might have been the most recent.. looked quite Canterbury Bulldogs.

Widnes and Hull shirts seem interchangeable last few years, neither seem to have their own identity. Usually you can tell who's club a shirt is quite easy.

Neither team should be rocking a V in my humble.

That said, historically they've always been close - us with black and white hoops, hull with irregular black hoops.

I'd like to see Widnes ditch the V and either go with black and white hoops or go with the white shirts/black trim (circa '89)

Widnes kit in the Offiah era was an absolute classic IMHO. Sure something like that would sell well.

"surely they've got to try somthing different now, maybe the little chip over the top?2

Till the day I die, that is the kit that says Widnes for me.

It must have been a ###### to keep clean in the days of winter rugby, though.

Are Leeds still with ISC or did they switch suppliers?..

Rumour has it they've got a new supplier. We'll find out tomorrow!

Ali Lauitiiti is pictured with a bag full of ISC gear in readiness for the Kiwi game,so maybe they are sticking with them.

Thank you for your valuable contribution.

Interesting.. I like the darker kit. Not too keen on the paneling on the blue/yellow jersey though. But will probably look ok with White shorts.

The home kit is great, the away looks a bit Sunday league.

agree that one of the kits looks "sunday league" (football) but presumably that's the home kit (lighter blue and yellow) ?

I quite like the darker one though, looks pretty good

The '89 worn against Canberra was a classic RL kit!

The look of the fabric suggests training tops, but could quite easily just be replica tops.. who knows. We'll find out today.
