If this is true, just a (very strong) rumour at this stage, then Eden will go on the wing (Solomona going is still a strong rumour so we may be a winger short).

Good buy for Cas if its true. I'd be more concerned about still wanting to play 'fumbles' Eden in the team. Cas fans should get ready to concede plenty of points down his side all year and expect at least 50% of all kicks & passes to him to be dropped.

Sorry for sidetracking, but being a Leigh fan this caught my attention, apart from seeing Ben Crookes on TV and thinking he is quite a reasonable player, what do you Castleford fans think of Him? are you happy to see the back or will he be Missed?

He becomes one of three decent specialist centres for us Gary - Tonga, Brown and Crooks - and would provide cover at Wing also. This fits with the utility outside back line we are taking in finishing the squad. Would love Hardaker, but you need a clear spot for that much investment and the confidence harmony would be retained. If true good move for Zac having played for Powell at Fev as he broke through, and we can see how much England are missing him.

Been disappointing in my opinion - very low try count for a 3/4 and hardly inspires confidence when he has the ball

Decent signing for Leigh IMO. But I think Greg Minikin is a better prospect hence Cas letting him go.

Crooks defence has improved a lot since his Hull days. He was a bit disappointing in attack but IMO that was largely because Cas played without a half back attacking his side for most of the season. Looked decent in most of the games that Roberts of Chase played.

When he came to us everyone was worried about his defence, turns out he's done a 180. Can't attack but now defends well.

For the Leigh fans, he's a solid utility player. Wouldn't have had much game time this year with us it seems, so good move for both player and clubs.

Totally agree and Lomax has disappointed imo, as a HB playing at FB I felt he would add massively to the attack, he hasn't. Has KC coached the flair out of him?

160k for a disruptive player who hasn't learned to stay out of trouble is ok.

I wish him well at cas, if they can keep him away from the disruptive elements in his life he'll be great for them.

How can he show flair when him and watkins are in the scrum when we are attacking?

Biggest test of Powell yet next year. Can he keep Zak focused on rugby? Can he keep Chase focused on rugby? Can he teach Greg Eden to catch?

I'd be happy with that although I doubt Sale would pay big bucks to loan him back and get a player a year before his contract is up. Plus Solomona will want his big money contract to start ASAP I'd guess.

Doesn't ring true to me but we'll see.

Would like another winger if he is going now though. Eden and Monaghan don't inspire me as a pairing (although wouldn't be surprised if Eden went well).
