Best games of all time.

Hello All, I'm relatively new to rugby league. Been following the game closely since 2015. In the off season intend to catch up on some classic international matches. Anyone got any suggestions

England v Tonga in the 2017 World Cup semi final and England v New Zealand in the 2013 World Cup semi final are both fantastic matches and occasions.

Australia V GB - Sydney 2006 tri nations - best RL game I've been to - had everything.

Sean Long master class, JP decking Mason and a great break try by Raynor.

If you want a taster there is a cracking video on YouTube - Great Britain shut the Aussies up. Watch and enjoy!!

Wales v Australia in the 2000 RWC. Just the first half, mind.

For older footage (and to see how camera-work has moved on since), here's the 1968 World Cup Final.

Scotland v NZ from about 2016-2018 at Workington that ended a draw.

Yep I was at that game - cracking night. Kiwis couldn't handle the conditions even though it was the same for both teams - what a night.

Official crowd was about 7000 - however DP is a 10000 capacity stadium and you couldn't move.....

Brett Kenny, Peter Sterling, Henderson Gill, et al. And a Wigan win. What more do you need.

An international like what was asked for.

For it to be an international? :kolobok_wink:

Anyhoo, I cannot let this pass without...

Doh! Do the line ups not count? Cant remember the best Wigan-Leigh game I’ve been to.

If you’re talking passport requirements then NZ-Samoa in World Cup complete with SBW slip was up there and the atmosphere at HJ was good. Wasn’t there but heard Wales and Inga’s mob down in South Wales was pretty good viewing as well.

That RWC was frustrating, what with so many matches being on the L!ve TV channel. I read about more matches than I watched. Tonga v PNG was supposed to be a belter, too. A match that led to a certain Stanley Gene being signed by HKR.

Who owns L!ve TV's archive, I wonder? And I'm not just asking because of the Topless Darts.

This is my choice too. Probably the only game in my lifetime where we completely outplayed the Australians for 80 minutes and the score reflected it.

Four Nations Final 2014 was a belter. Watch that and have a good laugh at the Aussies who say Shaun Johnson is/was no good.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

It is amazing really how many absolute classics International RL has delivered. Like genuinely world class sporting battles.
