Former USAP President Lacoste nomination by Catalans Dragons man of affaires Jean-Charles Tolza. Interesting.

What is USAP?

What federation is he nominated for?

What job does that federation have available?

Union Sportive de 'Arlequins Perpignan (Perpignan RU)

France, and presumably president.

Isn’t their quite a fractious relationship between USAP and Catalans? Why would he want to take charge of French RL or why would French RL want to vote him in?

Prob more of a Catalans wanting to take control at best would get votes from Catalan clubs ZERO elsewhere.

And how  is that relevant to these pages? Honestly I have no idea.

Hmmm, let's see..... might have something to do with the fact that this is a Rugby League discussion site?

Maybe, just maybe he’s an excellent administrator?

He's apparently running for French RL president according to the poster in the OP.

Wouldn’t be the first time a RL administrator was accused of being a RL mole 😂

That's another candidate,

so which person do you believe would be the right choice?

Also I read that André Janzac wants the LER to go professional. Regardless of who wins,  is it a possibility or just the annual announcement that won't go ahead?

André Janzac seems to be the most favoured by the fans on the French forum

That would be fantastic! When is the election? December?

Bernard Guasch supported Marc Palanque last time round. Not sure that worked out. The game here has to see the major role that the Dragons and TO have. They are the leaders. When Catalans played Wigan at  the Camp Nou around 20,000 French fans made the trip down. Guasch and Bernard Sarrazain at TO are the real game leaders today.

Yes the Lacoste launch tomorrow in Carcassonne. Four candidates presently I think. More interest than last time? Reported here that Lacoste was in Toulouse earlier this week talking to TO boss Bernard Sarrazain.

The former USAP guy isn't anything to do with the "I want to destroy RL" USAP guy from a couple of years ago is he?
