spanishknight
Should be better next week with a couple more players back from injury, well played Knights.
damp squib
Remy Casty is absolutely destroying Halifax through the middle. Great to see that he can still do it. Toulouse 28 - 0 Halifax after 24 minutes
Moominman
Currently Featherstone 16 Whitehaven 6.

Justin Sangaré sin binned at Halifax, should even things up slightly and Halifax get a try 4-34 just before half-time.
damp squib
Two tries in three minutes from Halifax brings it to 34 - 10 at half time.
The Phantom Horseman
Fev back to their old ways in the first half failing to complete far too many sets. Whitehaven have competed well. Three Fev tries disallowed too but it's 16-6 at half time, Whitehaven down the slope 2nd half.
Moominman
Whitehaven competing well at Featherstone; especially with a long injury list and two Scottish RU players on debut. Currently Featherstone 22 Whitehaven 14.

JonM
Halifax 34 Toulouse 44 is the full time score, suspect Fax would've won that if it had lasted a few more minutes, definite shift in momentum from the opening half.

Well done Fax great spirit, very sloppy from Toulouse after being 34-0 up after half an hour.
paulwalker71
Was it a case of Toulouse putting the cue on the rack, or did Halifax suddenly start playing?
The Phantom Horseman
Fev 48 Whitehaven 14 is probably the type of score that many expected but jeez Fev made it hard for themselves, a catalogue of errors especially in the first half. Credit to Whitehaven who had a real dig and showed some quality too, Walmsley looks a real find. Class told in the end as Whitehaven tired. barnyia
How can Newcastle play on a plastic union pitch with a 5m and a 22m line. I can't see any markings for the 10m and 20m.

The Blues Ox
Abysmal by Fax thats pretty much all you can say about that. Some players need to have a good long look at themselves after that first half.

audois
TO travelled without 4 key players, the two St Helens recruits, Hansen and Kheirallah. Three players from Elite 1 team in Boyer, Laguerre and Garcia filled in. Had two players yellow carded Sangare and Schaumkel. Had eagles winning this one but delighted to see Newcastle competing at this level. Fev and Toulouse pencilled in playoffs, throw a blanket over the rest bar Widnes, Swinton and Oldham. The reality is that this league is full of teams who can really make things tough for their bigger brethren. Batley are the classic example, as are Haven, both teams where you will never get an easy win. Fev and Toulouse obviously have the class, but who finishes in the remaining play off places is anyone’s guess. I’m delighted Thunder got the first win today, but please don’t place us in any potential playoff candidates yet, I said a couple of weeks ago, 9th would be a great achievement by seasons end. So chuck Bulls in that playoff mix. Game gone now, Dewsbury won't comeback albeit they have been on the back of a few dubios decisions that have all gone the Bullls way.
