To add to the PNG and French players in the English game I've noticed currently there are a fair few African born players playing their trade in the game.

We (Bradford) have just signed Sammy Kibula who is from DR Congo.

Sammy has a Leyth accent though

Kibula is a giant of a man and I had really high hopes for him coming through at Wigan but he never cracked it and it obviously didn't work out at Warrington either if he has now signed for Bradford.

Sadiq Adebiyi was born in Lagos and is supposedly signing for Wakefield, not sure how official that one is.

Should Levy Nzongou finally fulfil his potential then he may well end up back at a Superleague club. He was born in Brazzaville, Congo.

Jan Prinsloo, Trevor Lake, Jamie Bloem. Du Toit who played for Wigan can’t remember his first name, a few Toits played for Wigan over the years but only the one Du Toit I believe.

It was Nick Du Toit.

I thought about Jamie Bloem, but when I checked on Wikipedia it says he was born in Melbourne. I always thought he was South African....
