London winning 12 nil at Batley!!!

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

This score line really doesn't reflect the effort put in by the full town team alot off positives to tale from this luke broadbend is great under the high ball walker has played great like the look off Wilkinson Oscar Thomas has been really poor

Great effort lads, think we all thought it would be so much more. Hopefully no injuries and let’s go for London. Hopefully with all the advertising we will get a good crowd behind us .

Good effort lads, thought the score flattered Leigh and we could have had a few others. Daft that there is such a huge disparity between the top and bottom in this league.

Another good effort from the lads, a good break now and hopefully come out firing against London.

Think I'm brainwashed but I don't think there's any chance we get beat by London!
