I was involved in the State of Mind Choir to make this song that was released this wee with the video (look out for the North Wales Crusaders shirt!)

Its the unofficial anthem of the Rugby League World Cup....

The room packed with media did, and anyone watching on the OurLeague/RLWC app?

Those in the circle and the small number who use the app. Wonderful.

Me, they tweeted about it.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Were you expecting BBC1 to carry it live?

It was a media event. The media attended it. Job done.

Good song, well sung, Gogledd, and I say that as a director of one choir and tenor in another.  Thanks for sharing it.  I hope it gets extensively used at RLWC matches

It made ITV Tyne Tees Breakfast News this morning, along with a mention of the England Samoa game on Saturday.

Details of the Fan Village in Newcastle. Shame it couldn't be on for the Saturday and Sunday as there is a Scotland game on then, but maybe the footfall would be low on a Sunday...

Zip line across the Tyne as part of RLWC2021 Fan Village in Newcastle

I hope there'll be a way for people to buy tickets there (assuming the various Newcastle games are not a sellout) - seems like there could be a fair amount of footfall with shoppers etc. Could be a very effective way of filling any remaining gaps.

It's nice to see the effort that Newcastle City Council are going to with plenty going on on Friday and Saturday:

This all looks very positive. Will be sure to take the fam down nice and early.
