rich f
Booked flights from Bristol early Friday as Stansted prices have got really expensive and even with petrol/ parking it works out cheaper. Not great but going to make a long weekend of it. Staying at the Ibis in Toulouse as that seems the most reasonably priced and a good location. Back Monday. Can't wait. georgeb1
Listening to Hendo,s interview we are not surprisingly travelling to France battered with even more missing, a thankless task awaits although maybe some game time for Barnard , ward , Butterworth and price. HaxbyKnight
The fixture scheduling hasn't been kind to us at all this week. No part time team should be playing on a Monday night, and then travelling to France to play on the Saturday, against a full time side who have had 2 extra days between games. Add to that a 6.00 am flight on Friday morning to Carcassonne, then a 2 hour coach journey to Toulouse, (in addition to the injuries we have), isn't ideal either! The 21 man squad out 48 hours before a game seems pretty redundant this year. I think that's down to the RFL G but look on the bright side you now get 21 not 19 in match centre and for naming an injured player RFL INSISTS ON 21 so you can't smuggle a newbie in late on game day
