There is a growing anti wire theme on here, not just the usual fans but virtual whole league, you May find posters denying it but read their posts , I have read Wigan, saints, Leigh, Salford, Huddersfield, hull, hkr, Leeds. I am sorry if I missed you out.

Let's wait for the daft emojis from fans incapable of genuine responses.

They should be better than they are , more a criticism of Powell than anything else

Pleasantly surprised at that performance from us, i actually said it would be 40/50 defeat after their 1st try second half but something clicked and we actually looked like a decent rugby team for the last half hour and with a bit more luck we could have nicked that.

Kev Naiqama was unplayable at times in what was easily his best game for us.

What a difference it made having Olly Russell back with Theo, a proper half back pairing.

Hopefully that 2nd half can have a positive effect for us going forward.

Nothing wrong with that pass, JB can't moan at that one.

Assume that was when you turned it on as there was plenty to question before then.

We were rubbish again though.

I’m sure he’ll find something else though.

So that Ashton no try, have we got rid of the rule where a touch doesn't count if the tackler isn't playing at the ball?

Non tv games both his and Currie we're tries

There was only about half a dozen of them😄 or so it seemed.

About 100, not great but then again we don't have a big fanbase, which is well known and well ridiculed around the RL circles, we are in a poor run of form which always puts off most except the die hards, this happens with all clubs as we saw with Warrington last year and seeing with Castleford and Leeds too recently.

It was a week after we took a few hundred to magic weekend, there'll be a few hundred more go to Perpignan in a couple of weeks, so naturally lots of fans gave this one a miss due to cost, it was only on TV, it was a lovely hot summers day so many people probably chose to stay at home, save money, watch on TV and have BBQ's with family and friends.

Without those circumstances we'd probably have taken a good few hundred.

No excuse but reasons why, other clubs fans get leeway with such things so it's only right Huddersfield should.

Still, it was a good day we had a decent few drinks around Warrington and saw our team put in a far better effort than we have for weeks.

I’ve a bit of a soft spot for both clubs, I genuinely thought it could be Wire’s year but now I’m not so sure, they’ll be thereabouts though I think.

Mrs Phil and our daughter are both Giants season ticket holders so I’ve got to have at least a passing interest in them.

I don’t think Connor is an inspired signing, I know him in real life and he doesn’t strike me as a team player

A far, far better performance from Fartown last night.

So was it the  "settled spine", the "loss of egos", the "few things fixed up" - or other Watsonisms?

Apparently now we may have to take a step back this season. A late addition to the process mi thinks!

The sooner Ken gets the waft of snake oil the better.

We had the opposite in Catalan second game in , swings and roundabouts , the difference is because of the VR the correct decision was given , so you are complaining you had a score fairly written off ? , So you need ref mistakes to win ?

It was players putting in a bit more effort, it was more organisation from Russ and Fages, it had a nice balance to the team, it was good team work down both edges and it was a bit of confidence knowing we can compete if we work hard enough at it.

It was a massive improvement on recent weeks.

A big improvement for sure.

Naigama for sure had a really good game but I thought was helped by Warrington seeming to have someone jump/step out the line whenever it went that way - giving him a big gap which he exploited and for sure doesn't need that extra help from Wire defence, Something I,m sure Powell won't be happy with.

Good to see Huddersfield getting it together.

As I put during the game , just some belief and the game was there to be won , nearly did it as well

This was the sort of performance level I was expecting from Huddersfield this season, but which has been largely absent 'til now. If they keep it up, it makes the remainder of the season a bit more unpredictable for everyone.

Yes he did, from memory at least 4 games.

Fair enough, i was under the impression he never played and can't find any record of him making any appearances but i will trust your memory

You can see the reason Currie had his try disallowed, come on even the most one eyed fan could see that there was clear daylight between Currie and price. The Ashton one was closer.

A massive improvement it was indeed.

I would be tempted to bring Connor in for Marsters at centre and then leave things alone for a few weeks.

Lolohea seems to be fitting in well as an impact and in this way we can accommodate all our flair players, hopefully solving the season long conundrum.
