Disappointing that the referee can have that impact on a match. He may as well of scored the try himself

By definition though it's either a penalty try or a professional foul, I.e. commuting a penalty to deliberately prevent a try. So where was the sin binning?

But these are not even 50/50 decisions. Saints lost the ball twice and got two penalties.
