who saw that coming

Well not Rohan Smith anyway. Their respective comments make Hetherington look like a complete k**b. The deal had all been done behind his back and he had no knowledge of it at all until just before the contracts were exchanged

It looks like to me that Smith is being undermined, which raises the question is he on borrowed time at the Rhinos?

We don't even know that Hetherington was that annoyed by that. Who knows what happened? Maybe they were just meeting about contracts and for whatever reason it ended up in a shouting match? In any event all we can reasonably infer is that the relationship between Austin and Hetherington was done, and when that happens there's only going to be one person leaving the company, and its not the CEO.

He should have been sacked a few weeks ago. Leeds are atrocious.

And yet in 3 meetings with Saints this year there’s 4 points between them.

As for Austin you don’t go slagging the boss of your club off in public, especially if you are looking for a contract.

Leeds are not really a consistent team, and Austin is a real enigma and probably a part of that.

Sometimes Great Britain star Austin can be mercurial, but other times, the Aussie Austin can be awful.

With him and Sezer are a big part of the issues, hot and cold, but more cold than hot.

Tbf he is often played out of position, not his proper position of winger.

Both earned SL Dream Team selection when well coached at their previous clubs. Good players with a game plan but Leeds have none.

I think Hudds fans might disagree with your opinion on Sezer.

And Wire fans weren’t sorry to see Austin go.

Anyway, game plans seemed ok to get is to a GF last year 😉

It wasn't opinion but fact.

Whatever those fans may think, both Austin (2019) and Sezer (2020) were consistent enough to Dream Team status.

As for Leeds, when did they last go six seasons without a top-four place ?

Meh, Top 4 places has never bothered us, 😉

You don't get a prize for that.
