Quite honestly Morris, there is nothing much he could change in reality we don't have the players or squad strength. Whichever team we turn out out Sunday will make little difference, Saints are too good

Absolutely but there’s 3 or 4 individuals who appear undroppable. You could at least give the French lads a go, Eseh & Bowes. Get Dagger in at 6 although I realise he may now drop in at full back. However, having listened to Applecart drone on again in his latest borefest, I can see why nothing changes.

After watching the Wakey v Cas match the other week then St Helens will win very comfortably, there could be a Try fest on the cards against the bottom club up against a top 3 side who are on a roll.

Wakey 6 - 34 Saints

"A try fest" ?  That score would be a moral victory for Wakey.

Pretty inexperienced  back line for Wakey.

Dagger, Senior, Franco, Croft, Kershaw.

No Lineham or Proctor. They would have loved this heat.

20 mins of intense stuff then Wakey pathetically concede off a long range last tackle bomb.

6-16 38 mins.

Kershaw offloads to nobody under our sticks on 1st tackle. Saints pick up and score.

Dumb dumb play.

Right on hooter. Calamity last 5 minutes of half by wakefield.

6-20 HT

It was 20 out and batted back to Kay then went forward off Kay who couldn’t take it.

Trinity have been good for 30 minutes and out saints under some real pressure but a few mistakes have cost us 2 late try’s.

One of which shouldn’t have stood as there was a clear obstruction in the buildup.

Side note… how much do saints get away with in the tackle. It’s criminal the amount of holding down and wrestling they employ. The flops after tackle completed too.

Scrappy second half, Trinity served that up on a plate, Saints didn't have to get out of first gear. Still points difference didn't take as big as a hammering as I expected.

Saints capitalised on 3/4 trinity mistakes. Had trinity cut them out this game could have been very close.

Overall though it was a much improved effort.

Croft and Kershaw work very well together on that left edge. I really rate Croft. Hope he’s not seriously injured or we will have no centres next week.

Might have to recall Pratt from York.

Was using his shirt as a sling on the way off. Didn’t look great but hopefully just a precaution.

Sounds like the game was lost just before half time for Wakefield and through avoidable errors.

Wakefield end the weekend in a better position than they started it. Castleford v Hull FC is the match Cas must target next week, if they win, hard to see a way back for Trin.

6 wins in a row for us and now level on points with Wigan and Catalans. We've had a kind run of fixtures but have done the job.

There are questions about how we go against better teams, so we'll learn more about Saints in the next 2 weeks, when we play 4th and 5th place in consecutive weeks.

Saints are nothing special, we need a couple of new signings in the back line. A new centre & winger would be great but i can’t see that happening.
Hurrell limping off as well, Dr Nick Riviera working wonders at Saints again.

What happened to the Saints guy helped off at the end?  Looked like exhaustion or something way he was wobbling.
