Gutted for Toulouse. Thought they had it after that strong first half, but wow London! Absolutely shocked everyone by doing it away from home every game in the playoffs! Goes to show how close the Championship was this season. Wish we could have promoted all 6 of them!

In 3 consecutive seasons Jarred Bassett has gone from amateur Southern Conference with Wests Warriors. League 1 with London Skolars and gained promotion to Super League with London Broncos.

I am glad London have done it. They are good for the British game and they do bring through their fair share of local players.

I am not sure ,but I think they have more Londoners in their squad, than Toulouse have French players, stand to be corrected though

great game - the un tapped player potential in the capital must be massive- get in to the schools and collages - set up the open days for the kids to try out the game - show them what someone like dom young has achieved already in our sport

Well done London?  What next for Toulouse? They scaled back their playing budget somewhat this year. Will they invest again? Depends on what’s needed next year I guess for a SL place
