This will be a really touch run  out for the lads.

They beat Featherstone last match and we can only hope we come through it with no further injuries.

We can try out some of the new players who have not played yet or new combinations.

It's a terrible fixture, these teams take advantage of any error or penalty that comes their way. Even if you're squeaky clean they play at a higher level week in week out and it shows. Anything in the 40s is respectable so we should be aiming for the 30s.

Just another ###### cup fixture for us, weve had some bad luck with these over the past few years, going to a club we have very little chance of beating and also not getting much money from it. The only hope is we get no injuries.

Cornwall beaten St home by an smstuer club. Good luck lads just do your best and stay injury free.

Crarey was good today, and was a good listen in the 2nd half.

Hopefully they will get confidence from winning it by 20 points and scoring 3 tries.

Appears to have been a better second half ( I imagine this was playing down the famous slope). Congrats to Wath Brow for being the last team standing in the cup. Does this tell us something about the current state of Rugby League in Cumbria?

I'd say the main thing it tells us is the luck of the draw gave Town a fixture against opposition from a higher division and gave Wath Brow opposition from a lower division.

Hate to be the pedant but it was by 10, 18-8.

I was impressed by Workington in the second half, lots of fight and no little skill on view. Best of luck for the coming season.

What was the attendance today, we've had bad luck last few draws as we go away to a club like yours where we have very little chance of winning. Just hope we're injury free.

Haven overseas select got a good kicking, We were on a hiding to nothing.

So basically the ref pummelled us first half and we couldn't cope on our line. If we could've kept them in mid field we were defending well. Second half down the hill we showed them no respect and were comfortably the better team, they only scored off a kick and an interception that was dubious as the pass seemed to get a touch on it and went loose. Stephenson ,Taylor and Walton were our best second half . Sammut still doing genius things mixed with some oh no moments.

Town did ok today,defence was good at times,but basic errors and weak try line defence was the down fall in first 40mins,thought all the lads on the bench came on and did well,Reid,Stephenson, marwood, key played there heart out.henson looks good at 13,walker  had a go in attack, sammut showed from scrum what he can do,lot a lads just learning about pro rugby,today's game showed we're they got to get to.

Sounds very similar to the barra game, we defending the majority of the pitch well but we're relatively soft on our line, that needs sorting out.

That's about it mate. Walker keeps getting isolated by somebody bigger and of course the usual dive over from the PTB.

Hard to say as I think there was a significant number watching from inside (main lounge and hospitality boxes). If I had to speculate, probably around 750.
