I think the ref got it wrong personally.

Leeds could have been pinned for shoving an elbow in his face.

Agree it could've gone the other way for the facial. But Salford were continually slowing down and the ruck speed has been very slow/hands on ball far too much.

Yeah there were 5 tackles and he gave 6 again twice, the third had to be more than that. The old tot up.

These multiple angles are a broken mess, they need to be in sync otherwise they are pointless.

Totally agree. It's really hard to work out what the hell is going on. It works with cricket as there are only 2 angles so it's easy to see/work out.

Please be careful when using words like that, I'm a bit sensitive.

Well, I found that much more entertaining than last nights offering

I agree, perhaps it should be replayed.

Both teams have a lot more to give than that I think. It looked like a typical first game of the season where both sides looked rusty. Credit to Leeds on the win and pulling it out of the bag near the end though. They will certainly be relieved to start the season with a win at home.

Rohan Smith will certainly be happy, it was not looking pretty for a lot of the game amongst the fanbase.

Glad we got the win that was a real potential banana skin for us, Salford written off and nothing to lose, I thought they were excellent, ruck was too slow though but I suspect that was there game plan as Leeds’ big difference this year is speed.

Theres some positives for both teams, love what Miller brings to us

Thought Miller was class along with Ash

He got about a bit, definitely had the most exciting game of the new lads.

Both halves seemed a bit flat imo, hopefully the one up rugby is just an early season phenomenon.

Good call giving the Homme du Match to big Sam Lisone. A massive handful when he runs like he can.

I feel Salford come out of that with quite a lot of pride and reason for optimism. Put a bit of clinicality on top of the togetherness and fight, and they can win some games.

That long-range try from Handley was awesome. He stood up two people in succession, turning them inside out and taking them on the outside. Really good utilisation of space, speed, and footwork!
