The ref was a way off, he would have looked a fool if the grounding wasn't checked and a later replay showed, has has actually happened he lost control just before grounding.

The ref didn't ask for that to be checked to be fair, I think it's just protocol. Isn't it?

Fantastic eyes-up crossfield kick inside his own 20 by Croft and Handley catches and goes around the fullback for the try.

The Leeds left winger looks even more assured this term. His tries last week and this are both classy and easy on the eye.

Yes, but if they hadn't checked, and then as Sky do to find controversy, they could show it wasn't grounded, the ref and VR would look foolish.

Leeds really are gifting this game away.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Has to be a red again? Bend your back.

Aye, some tacklers are genuinely not even trying to make legal tackles.

No, that was a definite yellow, hit the shoulder rode into contact with the head with minimal force.

''I don't think there's any kind of real force in there.''

Kyle Amor after Sam Lisone stops Minichiello in his tracks.

I think yellow is a tad harsh there. It is almost like a front-on seat-belt tackle where Lisone has to get something on the runner. Minichiello could score and Lisone is looking to stop him.

Just a penalty IMO. It might ride up, but it's not dangerous or high force to head.

The ref was actually close, he had done better than most defenders and the touchy had a clear view too. If the ref didn't see it, ask for it.
