2nd divison RL is similar at best to conference north \ south football when it comes to awareness of the general public who are not die in the wool rl fans. So its not going to appeal to any Terrestrial tv channels just like Union Championship is not attractive to any terrestrial tv.   The best you could hope for would be a highlights package.

Living in the south, it would be very few people who would tune into a Bradford vs Newcastle game, and they are probably the ones with the most chance as newcastle is a city, and Bradford a large town.

When did Bradford lose its city status?

Are you not aware of the 1911 FA Cup winners, Bradford Large Town FC?

First winners of the "new" FA Cup, designed by Fattorini's. Antonio Fattorini was Chairman of Bradford City, formerly known as Manningham, who were the first winners of the Northern Union Championship, winning  a trophy designed by Fattorini's.

Spooky.

Bradford is one of the biggest and fastest growing cities in the UK.

And Newcastle regain Championship status.

Maybe Bradford got relegated. Who knows?

It will still remain a dump though, just a bigger dump.  🤔

From my experience that’s where the best RL players come from

Is there any update on this at all? Are there still negotiations ongoing, or was it killed off.

Hoping the former as I have £99 in my pocket I would be desperate to spend on this subscription if it was signed.

sorry about bringing back this thread, but just checking with those in the know...  No Champ games on TV this season is the likely outcome here?

Thats a shame but not unexpected TBH

At about £400 per club per season why bother Wakefield support alone at all the away games will generate more income in one match

Yes why bother getting more people watching games. People cannot see the bigger picture.

Premier sports ain't a channel to do that to be fair.

Is it true they are erecting temporary stands like this to accomodate all the Wakey fans at every ground?

All those who have been going since they were in Super League apparently!

What went wrong when the games were last on Premier then? It's a channel no-one outside of those interested in niches of minority sports watches!

Surely you'd need a bigger tv for a bigger picture.
