Players come out and the commentator says “it doesn’t get bigger than this. A challenge cup quarter final…”

Wouldve thought that it’ll get bigger than this in the next two rounds

Poor commentary

Newsum is a bang average commentator.

He tries to big things up, but it comes off as cringey.

I wonder if he does it in everyday life. Sat in Subway saying “sandwiches don’t get any bigger than this” as he tucks into a 6 inch sub.

Just now, Harry Stottle said:

Two very flat attacks, making it easy for the defences to shut the opposition down, if any of the coaches has the balls to tell his team to drop back and have a second phase they will go on to win this.

Well that won’t work for Saints. Nobody has any pace…

Scores don't get much bigger than this.

Playing well here. Middle of the park it is Saints' game; a bit wider and we have the ability to cause them some problems.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Classy little tribute to Ray French from Jonathan Davies there.
