Players you would sign

All things considered, went OK today. Not sure he's built to play prop long term, but could be a solid 2nd row, or even 13 if he can be a bit of a ball player.

I said earlier he didn't have the size for a prop. But he did try and even though he has just come in he was shouting at the other forwards to move up.Not one of our worst signings by a long way.Ball playing loose forward is a quite difficult position.Something that is difficult to coach some players just have it.

What as coach to replace Ford?.

I’ve been told just as player but I’d imagine it’s gunna be just to have some leadership in dressing room tbh as we’ve looked lost for a lot of the season

Id like us to look at the French league there is some great players available a little bit like London did last season

I'd be quite happy with the players we've currently got if we could get them fit, reduced disciplinary visits and playing somewhere near there potential.

I'm just going to highlight one of our major problems from Saturday. Cas yes I know it's a dirty word lol, but Cas on the last tackle put a bomb up and the Catalan full-back not only let it bounce but instead of knocking it dead himself, he let it go towards the dead ball line. While at the same time the hooker chased  almost 50 yards inn what looked a lost cause, but that didn't stop him and he caught the Catalan full-back cold and scored. That was just one instance where the mindset and commitment shone through. Where as our attitude appeared as, it'll be alright somebody else will get him. This season hasn't always been like that but Saturday was abysmal for commitment.

I agree but if I could recommend players to look at from France I’d recommend a player called AJ leage he plays second row/ centre great player for carcassonne

Not sure this is the best idea tbh, rarely do players returning have the same impact second time round, nevermind third and at 38. Obviously I hope it works out for the best however.

I hope he can do the job for us but it smacks of desperation

What we got to lose? We're getting desperate with suspensions and injuries, shame we can't get a new coach ,probably get players playing better.

One of the compliments Powell always gave Dickens was that he was an excellent link between the players and coaching staff as captain. Maybe that’s what’s missing and is effecting the dressing room. Locky could likely provide that and I don’t think he’ll accept any player not putting a shift in. So it could be a good move for what it will do behind the scenes.
