As one of younger ones on this forum, I've really enjoyed going to away games this season. Unfortunately the overwhelming impression I've been left with is how do these clubs survive?

As one of the older members, I agree with your comments and I also wonder how some clubs keep going.

That seems extremely unlikely. You honestly believe had the been no Wakefield fans there the crowd would have been about 70? We're there in a few weeks. I'll let you know but I'd be surprised if there's less than 800 there minimum. Most of which will be Swinton fans and maybe a couple of hundred Donny fans.

Have to say that the crowd was mostly trinity fans today. Red white and blue made up at least 75% of today’s crowd.

I also wondered how Swindon survive as it was a case of spot the Swindon fan today.

80 a bit harsh but I would estimate that no more than 250-300 Swindon fans today.

Nearly all the seating was Trinity fans. The standing opposite was mostly trinity fans and the hospitality was full of trinity club members etc.

Not putting Swinton down though. They had a nice little ground and decent set up for refreshments too.

Maybe home fans didn’t turn out today expecting a tough game I don’t know.

Thought Swinton did a nice touch clapping the trinity players out. I like signs of respect like that. Class costs very little.

It's the law that York never win at Haven, but here we are. After they absolutely rinsed us at home as well.

That'll be us safe and if we can keep up the momentum maybe sneak a playoff place.

Good to see Apelgarth doing well at York. The Trinity role was a tough one last year for his debut season in coaching first team but I bet he learnt a lot from that too which will improve and shape him.

How’s Joe Law getting on by the way? Decent centre that lad. Think he’s just unlucky that Pratt is ahead of him at Trinity who’s been absolute class this year.

That's a terrible gate for Swindon the used to get around 8000 when Don Rogers played for them:)))))

After a season with plenty of unpredictable results maybe the top end of the table is finally starting to take shape today. The top 7 are now four points or more clear of the remainder, and those seven all have vastly superior points differences (at least 197 points superior) to the other. It's starting to look like the top 6 is now between those 7 clubs, and Fev v Sheffield in 2 weeks and York v Fev in the final regular season week both look like huge games.

Certainly be interesting to see who wins the race.

I predict Bulls to just pip Toulouse to 2nd but it will be very close.

I also wouldn’t rule out York although they have one of the tougher run ins of the teams. They’ll need a couple of big performances to get in that top 6.

Joe Law, the kid with the dancing feet, looks like he is going to be the real deal, it would be great if we could keep him next season, I can see him developing into a class centre, but he will probably return to the Trin.

York have to play Sheffield, Widnes and Featherstone so the chance is there if we can take it. We also play Trinity but I think we can forget about getting anything there...

They have Widnes, Sheffield, Fev & Wakefield to play. If they beat the three teams immediately above them, they'll deservedly take a play off spot from one of them.

Big win for Halifax today. Very tense finish to Batley v Widnes too with the home team camped out on the Widnes line for the final 10 mins

Maybe they rest a few ahead of the playoffs?

I have you finishing level 6th with Sheffield with a better points difference.

Not bad for a 'set of friendlies' with no promotion  😉.

I think that's quite a good showing from Swindon! 🤷🏻‍♂️
