Not impressed by our effort, it looks like a training t-shirt from a few year ago, again too much going on, our kit is traditional Claret and Small Gold hoops, how hard is it to not just do a version of that every year?

I won't be asking the wife for one for xmas anyway.

It’s a massive shame as Huddersfield usually have the best jersey in SL.

We have the most colourful colours and the most simple design and yet we often can't get a decent kit out of them, Claret and gold hoops is not hard to use as a base.

Since when! Their traditional kit is nice but never the best.

That said Oxen are a terrible kit supplier, yet to see a good one by them.

It's interesting that jerseys of famous football teams have miniscule variations from year to year. It seems people are happy to pay for the tweaks, and the slightly different decoration of the same shirt.

I have no idea why RL kit designers try to reinvent the wheel every time. The Hull KR kit is literally a mish-mash of two styles, neither of them owing any past heritage to any former Hull KR shirt. I honestly think they're taking the ######.

Yeah Italian football teams (who imho have the best jerseys in any sport) don’t have much variation, they’re usually classics. Hull FC do it very well also.

I completely agree.

One immediate thought I had from today's test match was how great it was to see Australia and NZ playing in instantaneously recognisable kits. Sure you can't be critical if you wish around sponsors but they were both undeniably their classic kits, with modern updates of course.

In RL we have some great classic jerseys that people associate with clubs, even non RL fans. They should be a strong selling point for clubs and a strong part of their brand. I certainly feel like we don't use it enough and are all to keen to tear up history at times.

Yes, it's a poor effort. Looks very tacky.

I don't like that diagonal striping from under the armpit.

I think exactly the same with what is bestowed on us at Leigh, what is hard about doing Cherry and White hoops with the Leopard badge on the left side of the chest.

Even a bit of leopard skin in one hoop or on the shoulder if you really must..

Agree, classic styles make for a strong brand, and SH seem, I could be wrong, to do that more consistently. As a general sports fan who grew up with RL on the TV in thr 80s and 90s, the NORWEB etc shirts were instantly recognisable.

Oh I get it sweaty one, but wouldn't you think if they brought in a 'heritage' alternative as I described it would be well recieved a combination of the traditional with the new?

Even you should see the value in doing that.

Unfortunate sponsor..... would be a very nice jersey with almost any other logo in the middle. If I owned greenmount and liked wigan enough to sponsor them I'd let them use a black version of the logo.

I think Oxen pay fixed fees to the teams they make stuff for, then make a new kit or training range every month to milk the license as much as humanly possible.

Had a look around the oxen sport shop at the junction 32 outlet....... polyesterville..... got electrocuted twice with all the static
