Beaumont has absolutely no interest in appealing to anyone who isn't already fully on board with Leigh RLFC and the whole all-in Leopards branding. And, fair play, on those terms, it has all been, and appears to be continuing to be, a roaring success.

There would be zero point in him, or Leigh Leopards, producing a tasteful kit of the kind that I would like. That's not how this iteration of Leigh RLFC works.

Not totally true - it’s a networking scheme that just keeps on growing. Bob and Julie with the kids go to the game in full Leopard gear, the more extreme the better, kids mates are distraught they aren’t going and even more upset they can’t get into fancy dress. Bob Julie and kids now go with Jon, su and kids - competing who looks the most absurd.

Waiting lists on all corporate packages I believe also

To anyone thinking of having a go at the leopardskin theme, just ask yourself honestly whether it is really worse than this monstrosity. I can't get a picture to upload - think some algorithm is filtering on taste.

Yes it's much worse than that.

Why? I wouldn't go that route myself, but genuinely admire the club identity they've got going with the leopardskin branding.

Cos they just look ridiculous with their pot bellies hanging out of their matching leopard skin attire, men and women.

Yes that is my personal opinion and i'm sure others will disagree.

But many will think a pot belly hanging out from under any replica shirt (for which read garish polyester t-shirt, with a giant bookmakers' logo across the front of the top), is not the nicest look either.

What are you even on about? I must be attending different games because I'm yet to encounter these legions of obese Leythers falling out of their clothes that seem to be plaguing you.  Plenty pictures of fans here at Wembley and not a pot belly hanging out in sight https://www.leighjournal.co.uk/sport/leighcenturions/23718516.fans-pictures-leigh-leopards-challenge-cup-final-wembley/.

Honestly, for someone championing against abuse in his profile picture, I rarely see a post from you that isn't a thinly veiled dig at one club or another.

It was a tongue in cheek comment based on what i saw at LSV not Wembley, no abuse aimed at anyone at all merely poking fun at my own personal experiences on the days i was there.

Rhinos actual playing shirt for next year, so the collar as expected is just spacer.png supporters shirts and the horrible Oxen collar replaces it

Not the best, but at least it is a more traditional design. The Leeds shirt of days gone by was a classic. I bought a Leeds shirt as a kid when you could get the odd club shirt made by Bukta before mass production of replica kits was even thought of.

You've got a good memory 😉

Aye , main sponsor on the shirt and nowt else.

No shirt sponsors then. I may be wrong, but I think Featherstone were the first Club with a shirt sponsor, which was Linpac.

That's all they had. It was the same in football. Some of the RL shirts we have now look like racing drivers outfits with all the sponsors on.

That is the worst Huddersfield kit I have ever seen. In fact, it’s possibly the worst kit I’ve ever seen. I’m surprised really because I think Oxen have done some great kits. It’s like the designers have run out of ideas, or they had to get out of the door to go for a night out.

Rugby League would likely be far better if the RFL weren’t involved.

You weren’t that big fat Giants fan in the Wren pre game last year then?

Thankfully the awfulness of the actual design distracts from it

Yes, it's a poor effort. Looks very tacky.
